Sappho

has been working with Learning Disabled students for more years than she’d care to count.  It has given her tremendous satisfaction to be able to turn many of her student’s lives around from a failure experience in school to one of success.  She is fully credentialed as an elementary teacher, a Learning Handicapped Specialist and a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) teacher in the State of California.  Sappho has taken a broad range of training in areas that would increase her skills and knowledge about helping children learn to read. (Click here to see resume). Married for 13 years to a man who has ADHD, she is also quite knowledgeable about working with children and adults who have ADHD.  She has recently retired from an RSP position in the San Francisco public schools (and also a long commute, whew!), and is now enjoying  tutorial work in Walnut Creek, CA.

Miss Ayme

brings a strong knowledge and a great deal of skill in the areas of computer usage, keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, organizational skills, newsletters, graphics, and how things are done in the business world.  She comes from a family of folks with ADHD and Dyslexia.

Lucy

doesn’t say much (well, acutally she barks a lot!), but folks who come here seem to enjoy her sweet and loving disposition.  Many of the children fall head over heels in love with her. Lucy just wants to be petted and loved.  She often gives the impression that no one ever pets her but that just isn’t true! It’s all a ruse to get YOU to pet her!
